well, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for one night. the full english breakfast was solid, we loved it. the location was peaceful and ideal, also in the grounds are the obligatory gift shops selling extortionately priced goods including the famous buckfast tonic, in the nice quiet area. there was an a la carte restaurant nearby.

Fully Accessible Room features ample space with easy maneuverability for those with mobility needs. The hotel offers a terrace that's a nice spot for some fresh air when you need a break.
The bathroom in the accessible room could use a non-slip floor. My mom slipped, though the provided mats helped a lot. The evening meals were on the fancier side and pricier than we expected, which didn't align with what my mom wanted to eat. On arrival, we struggled to find a room to change in before heading to a local event, less than ideal considering our timing.

The location is fine, right next to beautiful Abbey gardens. The superior double room with terrace provided a fantastic view of the surrounding area.
There's no air conditioning in the rooms, which can make hot weather uncomfortable. The restaurant wasn't open for dinner , forcing us to drive to a nearby pub that lacked the ambience we were hoping for. Some TV channels had sound issues, and the volume was restricted. A few minor cleanliness issues were noted, like slight mold in the shower, disappointing. On top of that, parking could be tricky due to improper parking by others.
